I started as a stringer photographer for newspapers like The Philadelphia Inquirer and New York Times, then became a freelance photographer’s assistant, master printer for a Photo lab specializing in Advertising and art.
I soon joined my to be husband in our commercial studio, DelConte & Bryen Photography. Our clients included Tiffany’s, Seagrams, Hapers Bazzar, Random House, New York Cit Ballet, MOMA, and at least 100 more.
I started shooting for Architectural Digest, Bloomingdales “Rooms”, as well as private clients, Early digital included experimentation with the first 35 mm digital platfor, a parnership between Nikon and Kodak.
I landed as an event photographer for the last 28 years, which took me to the Hearst Castle, The Hamptons, Houston Texas, Virginia, The White House, New Yorks many upscale venues, the Rainbow Room, The New York Public Library, many different lofts, Botanical Gardens, Mansions and Oceans. From the Caribbean to Main, The Atlantic to the Pacific.
What made it all so very special were the people I met and worked with along the way to the 1500+ events I was privy to photographing.
